As part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science, the University of Glasgow End of Life Studies group has partnered with Scottish photographer Margaret Mitchell to host a series of events on using photography to explore social issues.

On 25th October, Margaret held a talk on the ethics and challenges of exploring social issues, such as homeless and the end of life, through the medium of photography.  Attendees were then invited to take photographs on the subject of ‘End of Life’ or ‘Financial Hardship’. We had a fantastic response and are pleased to be able to exhibit the thought-provoking images on the main University campus.

The exhibition, located in the chapel foyer, can be viewed until 26th November. For more information about the event, please contact Dr Sam Quinn: Sam.Quinn@Glasgow.ac.uk
