Superconducting Quantum Devices in the UK 2023 (SQD2023)

Dear Distinguished Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organising Committees, we are pleased to invite you cordially to participate in the 7th Superconducting Quantum Devices in the UK 2023 (SQD2023) to be held in the Advanced Research Centre (ARC) at the University of Glasgow, UK, 6-7 July 2023.

Superconducting Quantum Devices in the UK is a forum for UK-based researchers in superconducting electronic and photonic devices, and circuits especially those that are micro- or nano-fabricated and operate at or near the quantum regime. The meeting serves to discuss recent developments, advances and research directions in the science and technology of superconducting quantum electronics/photonics devices, circuits, systems, and related topics. The meeting is Number 7 in an annual series.

Many distinguished participants from all over the UK will present their latest research findings at the SQD annual meeting. There will also be presentations and exhibitions by the industry to promote scientific and technological discussions and to exchanges of high-tech experiences between industry and academia. Topics included are:

  • Josephson junctions and SQUIDs
  • Superconducting Sources, Waveguides, Detectors, Sensors
  • Superconducting Quantum Device, and Circuits
  • Hybrid Quantum Devices, and Circuits with Superconductors
  • Measurement and Cooling Methods
  • Applications in Industry, and Research from Metrology, to Communication, and Computation

We look forward to welcoming you all to the SQD23 in July 2023.

Yours sincerely,

Kaveh Delfanazari & Martin Weides
