Short-term mobility is an excellent way of gaining an insight into another culture, through a short-term work-based placement or period of study at another campus.

Many Glasgow students already do so, be it as a medical or dental students on an elective abroad, or as students of classical studies visiting the sites of Ancient Rome and Greece, or as law students working with German students on comparative law projects, or as engineering students carrying out research projects at a partner campus.

Why not supplement your cv with a course on entrepreneurship taken in Singapore? Or learn a bit about Chinese culture and language?  Nearer home, what about a course at Radboud University’s summer school?  There is no limit to the number of events you can ask to be recognised and there is also the possibility of developing your own proposal for prior approval.
