Glasgow's Global Partnership Fund (formerly IPDF)

The College of Social Sciences Global Engagement Strategy aligns with the University’s Global Glasgow International Strategy 2025 , which reaffirms our institutional commitment to global connectedness and collaboration.  

University of Glasgow staff can apply for funding for international activities that align with the priorities of the strategy via the International Partnership Development Fund. 

The deadline for the upcoming Glasgow's Global Partnership Fund (formerly IPDF) applications is 22 September. Anyone wishing to apply within CoSS must submit their application on the Glasgow's Global Partnership web page by Monday, 8 September.

Colleagues who work within the College of Social Sciences should follow the process shown below for each type of Glasgow's Global Partnership Fund (formerly IPDF) to submit an Glasgow's Global Partnership Fund (formerly IPDF) application.  When following the process, please keep in mind the key dates as shown above.

Match Funding

Within the College of Social Sciences, match funding is usually distributed as follows:

25% of the total cost is funded by the School, 25% is funded by the College, and 50% is funded by the Glasgow's Global Partnership Fund (formerly IPDF).
