Information for applicants

The College Ethics Committee meeting

The Committee meets four times a year to discuss general principles and specific issues arising from applications.  Occasionally, if the Committee is unable to resolve the issues raised by an application by electronic review, the whole Committee will discuss it.  The Committee does not normally interview the researcher or request their attendance although it may invite the researcher to attend if it is believed this would assist the Committee. Members of the Committee are not involved in the review of applications, nor in any committee discussions relating to them, with respect to submissions in which they are researchers or supervisors.
