OSGUG celebrates their 30-year anniversary with the UofG Chancellor

The Chancellor’s Lunch marks the delayed celebrations of OSGUG's 30-year anniversary from summer 2020.

This year The Oxford Society of Glasgow University Graduates (OSGUG), one of the universities most established alumni groups, celebrated their delayed 30-year anniversary on 17 June at Exeter College, with 31 alumni in attendance.

Members heard from Carol Bateman, OSGUG founding member, Sir Rick Trainor, Rector of Exeter College, OSGUG president John Gordon and UofG Chancellor Dame Katherine Grainger, who spoke about her role as Chancellor and her pride in being a UofG graduate.

The society presented a cheque to Chancellor Dame Katherine Grainger in support of the University's Chancellor's Fund, which had kindly been donated by members of OSGUG. This donation will directly support innovative, exciting projects that have an impact across the University and wider community.
