The British Heart Foundation’s Associate Medical Director, Professor Jeremy Pearson, spoke to former BHF Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Glasgow, Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak, as part of their ‘In Conversation With...’ series. 

Together, they reflected on Anna's departure from her native Poland in the 1980s, challenging the gender imbalance in the UK's research community and committing unyielding energy and passion to making Glasgow and Scotland a leader in modern medicine since her arrival, being a striking role model for women in science, and refusing to slow down.
