Dr Iliyasu newly appointed at Kano University.

Dr Iliyasu has been appointed as ProChancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Kano University.
University of Glasgow alumnus. Dr Zubairu Iliyasu, an MPH graduate of University of Glasgow 1999 has recently been appointed as ProChancellor and Chairman Governing Council of Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil, Nigeria.
The Minstry of Higher Education stated that the decision to appoint Dr Iliyasu into this exalted position of utmost public trust and confidence was informed by the recognition of his competence, proven integrity, academic excellence, patriotic disposition as well as the exhibited commitment to uplift the educational standard of the State.
Dr Iliyasu is also a member of multiple associations including, the Nigerian Medical Association, the Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria, and the Medical & Dental Consultants' Association of Nigeria.
