UofG Alumna awarded University of Oxford Vice Chancellor's Award

Dr Holmes-Henderson was recognised for her outstanding and innovative research project.

The University of Glasgow alumna, Dr Arlene Holmes-Henderson, who received her doctorate from Glasgow’s School of Education in 2013, was awarded the University of Oxford Vice Chancellor's Award for Education in 2020. This recognised the impact of her outstanding and innovative research project, Classics in Communities. In 2021, she became a University Policy Leader sharing her research on languages education with policymakers.

Dr Holmes-Henderson has published a number of academic and public-oriented articles on her research. She has also given radio interviews and appeared on podcasts. You can find them at www.drarlenehh.com
