During Book Week Scotland 2019, Dr Anne Pettigrew’s novel Not the Life Imagined, which follows a group of fictional sixties Glasgow medical students through the highs and lows of their careers, will be discussed in a panel at The Arlington Baths Club. The discussion panel will be called Women in Medicine – an Evening with Anne Pettigrew and will be led by Anne herself.

There will be a reading followed by a panel discussion on discrimination, sexual harassment and mental health in, especially, female medics, inviting audience Q & A.
