The University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir would like to invite Scottish alumni to their Concert in the Sanctuary 5th Ave Presbyterian Church on Sunday 12 April. The concert will start at 4:00pm until 5:15pm and this will be followed by a drinks reception in Bonnell Hall from 5:30pm.
The University of Aberdeen Chamber Choir, conducted by Paul Mealor will be joined by their ‘sister choir’, the Grammy nominated Westminster Williamson Voices, in this exciting concert celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the premiere of Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. Join the Very Reverend Professor Iain Torrance, Pro-Chancellor of the University of Aberdeen and other Scottish alumni at the beautiful 5th Ave Presbyterian Church where this 90 strong choir will also sing music by Professor Paul Mealor, whose motet Ubi Caritas et Amor was performed at the royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in 2011.
Tickets cost $15 and should be booked in advance through the University of Aberdeen.
