Do you enjoy creating content? Are you confident on camera?

Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

We’re looking for current students to join our team of Student Content Creators, to create content for our social channels that reflects your life as a student.

This opportunity is open to enthusiastic UofG students from all backgrounds, programmes and levels of study. Ideally, you’ll be active on social media, but you don’t need lots of experience or subscribers.

You’ll get paid to give us your take on the things that matter to you and future students, and the role is flexible and fits around your studies.

As well as creating videos, vlogs, reels and shorts, you’ll have the chance to appear in:

  • Promotional videos
  • Takeovers
  • Livestreams and live Q&As
  • Photoshoots
  • And lots more…

Take a look at some of the great content made by our students in previous years.

If you want to boost your CV, learn new skills, and connect with other students, apply today!

How to apply

We’d like you to create a short video (no more than 1 minute long) introducing yourself and what you’d like us to know about you.

You could tell us about:

  • why you chose to study at Glasgow
  • any interests you have (including any clubs or societies that you are involved with outside of your studies/research)
  • ideas you have about the kind of content you’d like to produce and why.

Remember to make sure that you can be clearly heard, and check the message and picture is clear.

Please upload your introduction video to YouTube, Vimeo or any file sharing site (Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, WeTransfer etc.) and complete this application form, including the link to your video.

Please ensure the link you provide is public, so your video can be viewed without requesting access.

You can also share any public social accounts you have (Tik Tok, YouTube, Instagram, Weibo, Bilibili etc.) or content you have created in the past that you’d like to share as examples of your work.
