Dr Timothy Moorsom

Biography

I am a Lecturer and Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow at Glasgow University. I completed my PhD in 2016 at Leeds University in the Condensed Matter Physics group. Following this, I was awarded an EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellowship, researching nanocarbon magnetism. From 2018 to 2020, I was the Experimental Officer for the Royce Deposition System, part of the Henry Royce Institute's Atoms to Devices research theme. My current work focuses on the development of hybrid organic-inorganic meta-materials for high speed, low loss computing and sensing.
