This year our annual Quantum Technology School moved on-line, and we are delighted to say it was a great success.  32 schools from the length and breadth of Scotland, Thurso to Lockerbie, Mallaig to Aberdeen, signed up for the first week where pupils downloaded an “Academic Pack” to explore Quantum Technology and how Physicists think.  Then in week two we ran three evenings of presentations and panels, with speakers and panelists from around the UK and the US.  40-50 pupils joined us for these sessions, and the level of engagement was amazing, especially considering the remote nature of the event.

Whilst it was disappointing we couldn’t run the normal face-to-face event, it was wonderful to be able to run this “virtual” variant, keeping the event going and continuing to be able to offer school pupils an insight into this developing field.
