Biography

Key Skills

Grant Funded

I'm specialised in electrophysiology, in both plant and Xemopus oocyte. I'm working with plants but I also use oocyte which is a great system to express any transporter to assess its function. I can take in charge the experimental setting from the cloning to the transporter function analysing.

  • Electrophysiology: Voltage Clamp in Xenopus oocytes, in plant cell and Patch clamp.
  • Molecular biology: Cloning, site mutagenesis, miniprep, in-vitro transcription
  • Confocal imaging

Research interests

I'm interested in Plant cell physiology especially in membrane transport regulation (Pump/channels). I can extend my work on other organisms (for example I recently worked with a pump from halobacteria).
