SMB Community Forum Events
Talks take place on a Thursday at 15:00 (unless otherwise stated)
The committee represent the whole School community (staff and graduate students) and organises Community Forum (a monthly space to hear about the research, teaching, and engagement) and many social activities including: LabOlympics, treasure hunt and sport day fun.

Sports Day Event at the Garscube Estate, University Sports Complex Archery tag and bubble football 13:00 - 15:00 Transportation: Mini buses will be available with limited seating to shuttle participants between the main campus and the Garscube Estate. Departure from main campus: 12:00 (pick-up point main gate) and Return from Garscube sports pavilion: 15:30 (arrive back on the main campus 16:00) Parking: Free access and limited parking at the Garscube sports pavilion car park FREE lunch: a packed lunch will be provided on arrival (sandwich, water, fruit, crisps) Prizes: the winning team will receive a £20 'Love to Shop' voucher (each participant) so bring your game face and plenty of team spirit! Photographs: pictures of the event/activities will be taken to be included in the SMB Sway. If you do not want to have your picture taken, please let one of the committee members know as soon as you arrive. There will be photo consent forms to sign on the arrival |
