Biography
Caroline is an anatomist with a strong interest in reproductive biology, histology, and embryology.
She graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc (Hons) in Anatomy before pursuing her research career at the University of Edinburgh with a Masters by Research in Reproductive Sciences and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences.
Her PhD investigated the effects of chemotherapy agents on the prepubertal testis with the aim to develop fertility preservations strategies for young boys undergoing cancer treatment.
Throughout her PhD, Caroline taught on the undergraduate biomedical sciences programme at the University of Edinburgh and Zhejiang University in China.
After the successful completion of her PhD, Caroline continued to pursue her research interests as a research associate at the University of Edinburgh before joining the University of Glasgow as a Lecturer in Human Anatomy.

Supervision
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate student supervision including masters and PhD students.
Teaching
Caroline is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is currently completing the PgDip at the University of Glasgow.
She is Course Coordinator for Year 3 (Junior Honours) of the Anatomy BSc programme (Anatomy 3A and 3B courses) and the Senior Honours course Problems in Human Reproduction, and co‑coordinator for the Life Sciences Go Abroad programme.
She also contributes to teaching on the following courses:

- 2C Human Biological Sciences 2
- MSc Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy delivered jointly with Glasgow School of Art
