Working with Schools in Scotland

Matthew Fox holds a University of Glasgow Knowledge Exchange Fund grant to develop a project entitled ‘Argue Like a Roman: a rhetorical toolkit for schools’. This enables Prof. Fox to work with local school teachers in developing a set of teaching materials for lower secondary school children (age 11-14), which will introduce them to Classics and its relevance in the 21st century.

Prof. Fox has also been successful in his application for a College of Arts and Humanities undergraduate student research internship connected with this project. The student intern will be responsible for designing a visual identity for the teaching materials created for the project, under the guidance of a professional graphic designer, fostering a range of useful transferable skills.
