New article by Louisa Campbell on the Antonine Wall Distance Sculpture in Dunnotar Castle

A colour digital reconstruction which puts the sculpture in a new light as historical object.
Dr Louisa Campbell has recently published another paper which is available via Open Access. It tracks the trajectory of an Antonine Wall Distance Sculpture once embedded into the walls of Dunnottar Castle where it was repainted in the Sixteenth Century by the Earl Marischal. Lovely (and very surprising) digital reconstruction of how it would have performed for Sixteenth Century audiences is included, complete with ambient lighting cast by candlelight!
