Scottish launch event for the AHRC Academic book of the Future project in Glasgow
Organised by the Glasgow Digital Humanities Network, AHRC Digital Transformations strategic theme, and the AHRC Academic Book of the Future project team
in the Hunterian Museum, University of Glasgow
This seminar will consist of several short presentations by Marilyn Deegan (Kings College London and Academic Book of the Future team), John Scally (National Librarian of Scotland); Tom Mole (Director of the Centre for the History of the Book, University of Edinburgh); David Marshall (Group Commercial Director, John Smith’s Booksellers). There will also be presentations and displays from Glasgow University projects with innovative approaches to publishing in the digital age.
