Inaugural Lecture
Costas Panayotakis (Classics): Fragmentary Latin and Low Literary Laughter
Inaugural lectures are given by new professors who are invited to give a public lecture to mark the occasion of their appointment/promotion. The lectures are intended for non-specialist audiences, and celebrate not only the new professor’s research field as well as their achievements.
