Biography
I am a statistician with experience in academia, industry, and government policy-oriented research. Prior to joining the Robertson Centre for Biostatistics in 2024, I was a member of the Scottish Government’s Centre of Expertise on Animal Disease Outbreaks (EPIC), co-leading data management and data science initiatives. My research has informed veterinary public health practices and advanced statistical epidemiological methodologies for real-world applications.

I am passionate about statistical computing, free software and open science. My research interests are in biostatistics, clinical trials, multivariate statistics (principal component analysis), the bootstrap and other resampling methods, nonparametric statistics, and simulation modelling.
