Miss Krystyna Loney

Biography

Krystyna is a Research Assistant in the Suicidal Behaviour Research Laboratory (SBRL). She works on training and intervention development of the national Distress Brief Intervention (DBI) and is an Academic Advisor to the National Suicide Prevention Advisory Group of the Scottish Government.

Krystyna is also currently completing her PhD in SBRL. Her PhD focuses on understanding the relationship between coping/social problem-solving and suicide risk. Prior to this Krystyna completed a MSc in Clinical Health Psychology and an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology at the University of Strathclyde.
