Biography

I joined the Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HEHTA) department in 2018 as a Research Assistant. In 2024, I earned my PhD by published work in Public Health while working with HEHTA.

Currently, my research focus is on evaluations of public health interventions, with a specific interest in mental health, substance use disorder epidemiology and related policies. I work with longitudinal, linked datasets for observational and cohort studies. I also have experience in health economic evaluations of diagnostics and screening strategies across diverse disease areas, including alcohol misuse, infectious, and neglected tropical diseases.

Beyond research, I'm involved in teaching and assisting with courses for our MSc in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), and I regularly supervise Public Health and HTA master's students. I hold an MSc and a BSc in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University.
