Dr. Kashif Shafique and former student Zia-ul-Haq have been awarded the National Best University Teacher award by the higher education commission of Pakistan. Dr Shafique said, 'I am delighted to share that both me and Zia-ul-Haq have been honored with a National Best University Teacher Award by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The award was basically based on assessments of teaching, research papers, research grants and many other parameters and those who earn the highest points become eligible for this national level award.'
