Sally Wyke delivered a plenary on robust development of complex interventions - Hong Kong
Sally Wyke, Deputy Director of IHW, College of Social Sciences gave a plenary presentation at the third Health Services Research Symposium, Hong Kong, in June. She spoke about the need for robust, person-centred and collaborative, approaches to intervention development and evaluation, illustrating the talk with the work led by Stewart Mercer on improving wellbeing with multimorbidity in deprived areas of Glasgow.
Hong Kong has a thriving health and health promotion research culture, led mainly from the two Universities Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University. Other plenary speakers included Louisa Jorm, of the Centre for Big Data Research and Alain Labrique, of Johns Hopkins Global mHealth Initiative
