Research interests
Passionate about teaching, research, and innovation in geospatial sciences. I specialize in Remote Sensing (satellite and UAV), GIS, and Applications for environmental monitoring, land-use planning, and natural resource management. My research interest focuses on developing multi-sector Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS) that integrate artificial intelligence, including machine and deep learning techniques, to address real-world challenges. I'm particularly interested in how recent advancements in geospatial AI can enhance decision-making processes across domains such as urban planning, environmental management, public health, and infrastructure resilience.
With a strong academic background and hands-on experience, I am dedicated to equipping students with cutting-edge geospatial skills while contributing to impactful research in Earth observation and spatial data analysis. I am keen to collaborate on interdisciplinary research, curriculum enhancement, and professional training programs in GIS, remote sensing, and UAV applications. Let's connect to explore opportunities in advancing geospatial education and research!
