School of Geographical & Earth Sciences

After a successful relaunch of the Drumlin Magazine in 2025, Drumlin returns once again! First established in 1955, Drumlin is the annually published, student-run Geographical and Earth Sciences magazine. Drumlin 2026 offers a variety of delightful musings on geography and our world, ranging from poetry and personal pieces to GIS and forestry.

This academic year, the Drumlin Committee was created to support all things Drumlin, including hosting a craft event that produced some fantastically creative, geography-inspired collages, which can be found inside Drumlin 2026!

Drumlin was officially launched at the March Launch Event, where we heard from Prof. Chris Philo about the history of the magazine and sold out of all our physical copies. Thank you to everyone who contributed to Drumlin and attended the Launch!
