Dr Haobo Li is a Research Associate within the Extreme Light group led by Professor Daniele Faccio in the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Glasgow, UK, working on remote human health evaluation using machine learning. He graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Northumbira for his BEng (2015) and received a MSc degree (2016) in Communication and Signal Processing at the University of Newcastle. He obtained his PhD on multimodal radar sensing using machine learning at University of Glasgow in 2020 under the supervision of Dr Francesco Fioranelli, Dr Julien Le Kernec, Dr Hadi Heidari and Dr Sevgi Gurbuz, then worked as a Research Assocaite on AI for Cardiac MRI analysis with Prof Claudia Prieto at King's College London between February 2021 and December 2021. He has authored and co-authored over 15 peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals or conference proceedings and acts as a reviewer for several journals and conferences. He is a member of IEEE.
