Some of our BHF PhD students were given the opportunity to write a Journal Club or Tools of Trade article for Nature Reviews Cardiology. This was part of a programme partnership between the BHF and Nature Review Cardiology. Well done to all our students who took part and were published, we can’t wait to read your articles!
Rebecca Gilchrist “I thoroughly enjoyed writing this article and found the experience of drafting a journal article then responding to Editor's comments extremely useful. I chose to discuss an influential study, written by Rosenbaum and colleagues in 1982, which established the concept of cardiac memory. Understanding the concept of cardiac memory and its implications have led to important advances in the field, and has also influenced my own PhD project.”
