The W M Mann Foundation have partnered with Jakarta Setiabudi International Tbk (JSI), a leading Indonesian investor in the country’s hospitality and tourism sectors, to introduce The W M Mann Foundation and Jakarta Setiabudi International Tbk Postgraduate Masters Scholarship, which will provide funding for a scholarship for one Indonesian Masters student to come study in Scotland. Alongside a full fee waiver and accommodation for the student, JSI will provide a work experience opportunity and mentoring programme. Eligibility creitera is:
- The applicant must hold an offer of a place for a postgraduate taught one year Masters programme for September 2025 intake.
- They much have international fee status.
- The candidate must not already hold a non-Indonesian degree.
- Through their application form, the applicant, must demonstrate a clear track record of contribution to their local community, a clear ambition to further Indonesian and Scottish cultural and/or commercial links and has overcome challenges and can demonstrate an awareness of the benefits and opportunities that the scholarship can offer. This will be established through a personal statement on the application form.
University of Glasgow is committed to support as many self-funded students as possible which is why UofG discounts and scholarships cannot be combined with one another or any external sponsorship discounts (with the exception of Alumni Discount).

How to apply
Applications for this scholarship are now closed.
There will be a required interview for a number of selected applicants. The interview will either be in person in Indonesia or there is a possibility of these being conducted online. Successful applicants that make it to the interview stage will be contacted separately to arrange interview details.
