Shaun-Jones Eganda is a recent Masters graduate in biological chemistry from the University of Leicester. Shaun will be working in the School of Chemistry on developing a new therapeutic strategy to treat malaria.

He is hoping that the programme mentorship and leadership training will allow him to be a pioneer like James McCune Smith and to contribute to building a community of Black scientists at Glasgow.
