ICAS Foundation Scholarship

Kickstart your future in accounting and finance with the ICAS Foundation. We support talented accounting and finance students from low-income backgrounds with bursaries, mentorship, and career guidance.

Open to UK students pursuing studies in accounting or finance at

  • Any Scottish university

Applicants must:

  • Have a household income of £34,000 or less per year (before tax)
  • Be eligible for UK government student support
  • Not hold a previous degree (exceptions apply).

Value

The ICAS Foundation ‘Nurturing Talent’ programme offers successful applicants:

  • Bursary funding (up to £2,500 per academic year depending on household income)
  • One to one mentoring support from a Chartered Accountant
  • Assistance in finding internships and graduate roles
  • Personal and career development opportunities.

How to apply

Applications for the ICAS Foundation Programme open each year on 1 March, and remain open until 31 May. Applicants must complete and submit the application form before the closing date.

The online application form should take you around 30 minutes to complete. We recommend submitting your application early, as this means we can offer you more support throughout the application process.
