Future Planners Bursary
Future Planner bursaries are available to students on an RTPI-accredited Planning Masters in Scotland for 2025/26 to assist with course fees and living expenses.
The bursary aims to attract diverse talent from a variety of planning-related disciplines and underrepresented backgrounds to study a fully accredited Planning Masters in Scotland and increase the number of qualified planners.
The University of Glasgow has a total of 10 awards available funded by the Scottish Government.
Homes for Scotland have also provided funding for 1 additional bursary funded by the Mic Mac Group, making the total of 11 awards to be awarded for 25/26 academic year.
RTPI Scotland will provide additional support to Bursary holders by offering places at Institute events.
In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- Hold an offer of study at the full or part-time MSc City Planning & Real Estate Development or MSc City Planning programme starting in September 2025/2026
- Have Home/ RUK fee status
