Biography

Lili obtained her undergraduate degree in Preventive Medicine, after which she undertook her master degree in Public Health in the University of Glasgow. During her PhD in Public Health, she joined School of Health & Wellbeing as a research assistant since 2020.

Research interests

Lili's research interest focus on:

  • Calibrating clinical trial findings to real-world populations using individual patient data (IPD) from both real-world sources and clinical trials
  • Exploring approaches to trial calibration when IPD is limited
  • Identifying methodological challenges when using routinely collected data for research
  • Developing health economics models using IPD from disease registries
  • Using discrete choice experiments in healthcare data

Lili has collaborated with international research teams in China, the United States, and Canada, and she is open to further collaborations, with a particular interest in trial emulation.
