Dr Hamish Foster

Dr Hamish Foster graduated from University College London with a BSc Hons in Neuroscience in 2006 and then with MBBS from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2007. He undertook Foundation Training in East London and Essex before completing 1 year of surgical training and completing MRCSEd in 2010.
After a year of locum work and working as a research assistant in Tanzania he undertook specialist training in general practice in the north west of Glasgow. In 2013-2014 he took a year out of GP training to complete a Diploma in Tropical Medicine in east Africa (DTMH-EA) and to work in a rural hospital in Uganda.
Hamish gained his CCT in August 2015 and joined GPPC at that time.
He continues to work two days a week as a locum GP in Drumchapel Glasgow.
