Biography

Dr Bhautesh Jani joined University of Glasgow in August 2010 as a clinical lecturer, funded by the Scottish Clinical Research Excellence Development Scheme (SCREDS). He is pursuing a career in academic general practice while working part time as a GP partner in John Street Surgery, Bellshill. Bhautesh was awarded a PhD in Primary Care Research by University of Glasgow in 2016 for his project entitled "Exploring the potential role of allostatic load biomarkers in risk assessment of patients presenting with depressive symptoms". Dr Jani is currently doing a NRS Career Research Fellowship funded by the NHS Research for Scotland.
