Thermal Ecology Group

The Thermal Ecology Group is a network of University of Glasgow  investigating the ecophysiology of temperature regulation in animals and applications of body temperature measurement to ecological, behavioural and animal welfare problems.

Rapid advances in technology are providing exciting new opportunities in this field—we are using telemetry and thermal imaging to measure body temperature in a range of captive and free ranging species.
