Research tell us that spatial skills matter and are key to developing STEM in our learners. This week, we are delighted to share our task "Spatial Skills in Maths Matter" as part of Maths Week Scotland 2026
Maths Week Scotland Spatial Reasoning Task:
Created by our Resource Managers Susie and Jenny, this task ask you to visualise and think spatially; To use landmarks to orientate themselves; To give/follow directions and create a map. (MTH 1-17a, MTH 2-17c)
The activity is most suitable for primary school pupils but fun for anyone to have a go.
