Thursday 26th of March marks the second annual World Bannock Day: a celebration co-created by Scottish food historians and enthusiasts to mark the birthday of Florence Marian McNeill, and bring together lovers of Scottish food from around the world. But what is a bannock? And who was McNeill, and why is she important to Scottish food history today?
