Policy Modelling for Health is a £7.5 million research grant funded as part of the £35 million UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Population Health Improvement Network (PHI UK).
Economic conditions are intrinsically linked with population health and health inequality outcomes. Conversely, an unhealthy population limits the available workforce and productivity, posing a threat to economic prosperity.
Our core challenge is to support policy decisions that intervene on the economic determinants of ill health and health inequalities.
