Centre for Gender History

Margaret's research interests include 19th- and 20th-century Russian literature and culture, comparative literature (Russian/Hispanic), Romanian language and literature, gender studies, Russian women's studies and literature. She is currently working on the theatre of Chekhov in Spain, translation, reception and performance. Future research will concentrate on the works of Chekhov more widely in the Hispanic World, including Portugal and Brazil.
