Jake Lever

Meet Jake Lever, lecturer of natural language processing and information retrieval in the School of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow.
Jake is a lecturer in the School of Computing Science with a focus on biomedical text mining and natural language processing.
His research develops AI methods to automatically read biomedical research articles, identify the key concepts being discussed and extract the described knowledge in a structured form. He did his postdoctoral research at Stanford University and completed his Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
