GRILL Lab
The Glasgow Representation and Information Learning Lab (GRILL) is a research group in the School of Computing Science. We are part of the Information, Data and Analysis Section and world-leading Information Retrieval group.
Their research aims to develop new methods for machine understanding of natural language text and data.The group develop new algorithms and artificial intelligence techniques to tackle challenging problems in explainable machine reasoning, language understanding, and information seeking.

The Museums in the Metaverse (MiM) project is creating a ground-breaking two-sided Extended Reality (XR) Cultural Heritage platform that aims to empower diverse visitors to explore cultural assets in new and engaging ways; enable cultural heritage professionals and non-specialist users to create new content; and explore models of use to support sustainable economic and cultural growth.

Transit
TransiT is a national research hub focused on using digital twins to rapidly decarbonise transport in the UK, including road, rail, air and maritime, across both passenger and freight.
CREATe
CREATe is the Centre for Regulation of the Creative Economy. We are core funded by the AHRC as UK research infrastructure, with a focus on the regulation of creativity, technology and markets (intellectual property law, competition law, information and technology law). CREATe was established in 2012 as the UK Centre for Copyright and new business models in the creative economy.
The Participatory Harm Auditing Workbenches and Methodologies (PHAWM) Project
PHAWM investigates how to enable individual and collective participatory auditing of current and future AI technologies so that diverse stakeholders beyond AI experts can be involved in auditing their harms.
