The meeting will start with lunch at noon on Monday 18th December and finish with lunch at 12:30 on Tuesday 19th December.

Guest speaker:
Professor Jonathan Van-Tam, University of Nottingham

This informal meeting will bring together the influenza research community at all career stages from across the UK and Ireland, to present and discuss ongoing work. Sessions will be organised to cover a wide range of influenza research.

To make the event as accessible as possible, costs will be limited to the minimum needed to cover catering. The timing is intended to allow new students to attend.

Travel and accommodation

Please note that the meeting will be held at the Sutton Bonington Campus. The nearest train station is East Midlands Parkway, which is a short taxi journey from the campus.

After the evening meal on the Monday, travel between the venue and nearby pubs, etc can be made using the campus Hopper Bus. A timetable can be found here
