Doubt, Distrust and Disinformation Seminar Series
This interdisciplinary seminar series explores how doubt and distrust are cultivated, and the effects that they have, from the level of individual cognition to societal (dys)function. Speakers will present cutting-edge research on such topics as conspiratorial thinking, bias and prejudice, navigating trust online, the cognitive and social effects of generative AI, and the effects of mis- and disinformation on our political environments.
Seminars will be held Thursdays 3-5PM in 386AB Adam Smith Building.
We are keeping a mailing list for this seminar series. If you would like to be added to the mailing list, or if you have any questions about the series, please contact lilith.mace@glasgow.ac.uk.
