Centre for Parasitology brings together a large and vibrant multidisciplinary research community.
We span the breadth of parasitology at every scale - from cell and molecular mechanisms to ecology and evolution - to understand parasites and the diseases they cause.

Who we are
The Centre of Parasitology builds upon a long tradition of parasitology research in Glasgow.
Bringing together researchers from across the University of Glasgow, focused on all aspects of parasitology, our goal is an integrated and multidimensional understanding of the unusual and divergent biology of parasites, their complex interactions with their hosts and their transmission in different environments.
By synergizing complementary expertise and resources, within the University and across the globe, we link laboratory research with clinical, epidemiological, and applied studies, translating new insights into fresh approaches for parasite control.
