CCSE Members Publish and Present at CEP 2019

Quintin Cutts and Joseph Maguire represent the CCSE at the Computing Education Practice Conference 2019.

Professor Quintin Cutts discusses the opportunities and on-going research in work-based learning for software engineering with computing education practitioners and researchers from across the United Kingdom. Professor Cutts argues that work-based learning has the potential to provide exciting avenues in research and practice for computing science education. Dr Joseph Maguire discusses active learning practices for cyber security education. Dr Maguire highlights the benefits of such an approach for cyber security as well as discusses the potential for ’social’ intended learning outcomes in the design of courses.
