Tuition Fees: 2025-27
The MAGMa programme is a two-year international Master’s degree delivered across multiple countries, and tuition fees reflect both the programme’s structure and its prestigious academic consortium. Fees are determined by your residency status and are payable to the coordinating institution, the University of Glasgow.
Below you’ll find a breakdown of tuition fees for UK, EU, and international students, along with important information about what is included—and what additional costs to plan for over the course of your studies.
UK/EU students: €11,183 per annum* | £9,560 per annum (2-year programme)
International students: €22,224 per annum* | £19,000 per annum (2-year programme)
*The EUR (€) fees listed are based on current exchange rates on the European Commission’s approved currency converter. The University of Glasgow can only collect fees in Pound Sterling at the published GBP values and subject to exchange rates at the time of payment.
Please note:
- Fees payable by EU students are the same as those paid by UK students.
- Nationals of non-EU programme countries as defined by the EACEA will also be charged Home and EU fees (Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Turkey).
- The fees listed cover tuition only. As the programme contains various mobility periods at different locations, students will need to cover their own airfares between each chosen partner, as well as accommodation, visa expenses, and other living expenses.
- For Erasmus Mundus-funded scholarship students, the Scholarship is intended to cover these costs. Self-funded students must ensure they take these costs into consideration when planning their budget over the 2 years.
- All self-funded applicants are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 when an offer is made.
