Research title: A Case Study on Project-Based Language Learning in Chinese High School English Education: Student Experiences, Teacher Transformation, and Pedagogical Implications

Research Summary

My research asks if project-based language learning can work inside China’s exam-heavy high-school English classes​​. I ran an approximately five-week travel-themed project with 56 Grade-10 students in China​. Planning presentations and making short videos pushed them to speak and write more, and it turned the teacher from lecturer to guide. The work shows that small, well-planned projects can live alongside test prep and still give students real chances to use English.
